Jennifer Yates Tebben writes young adult and women’s literature. The first chapter of her YA novel-in-progress,Leaving Abilene, won the 2013 Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Jack Reid Award. Before writing, she taught high school biology and chemistry in Olathe, Kansas. She currently lives in Laurel, Maryland with her husband, three boys, and labradoodle.
